Here is a neat old 12 gauge, sidehammer, single barrel break open shotgun by FOREHAND and Wadsworth in WORCESTER, MASS. It has a n AUG 16, '81 patent date. Barrel is marked - FINE DECARBONIZED STEEL. The barrel is 30 inches long. The action retains about 50% original nickel finish. The barrel has a pleasing mix of blue and ptina. It is a 6 shot, double action Pocket Pistol chambered in.32 rimfire.It is in superb Museum standard condition, it functions perfectly with no play in the cylinder.

Forehand Arms Company Serial Numbers Lookup; Doing some research myself on this subject and have only been able to determine that the company was named Forehand from 1890 to 1902. It had originally been named Forehand & Wadsworth, and was renamed when Wadsworth retired. Zawgyi Keyboard.pkg.zip, ZawgyiMac Keyboard Installer Package Featured. From 1856 to 1863 as Allen & Wheelock and from 1863-71 as E. Forehand & Wadsworth grew out of E. Allen and operated from 1871-1890 when it became Forehand Arms Co. In 1902 the handgun business was sold to Iver Johnson and the Long Gun business to Hopkins & Allen. Hopkins & Allen (Norwich, CT) bought Forehand & Wadsworth in 1902.
